Alright, I admit that progress on the blog is a little slow. I wanted it to be the most spectacular blog layout that anyone has ever seen before I made an actual post. Since I do not see any free time on the horizon, I will go ahead and do a pre-grand opening post.

We were finally able to get our Christmas decorations up. Patrice would not allow us to purchase the giant inflatable snow glob for our front room, but I did convince her to let me put up a Christmas forest. We also went to the live Nativity with Amy, Zach, and their kids. Here are a few pictures of the recent events.

YES! First to post on the real blog! I honestly feel so special. It's about time the two of you got into the swing of things. The Christmas decorations look great, my favorite would have to be "Oh little town of Bethlehem. Looks great.

I just left a long comment and got some error, so here it goes again....

For the record, I was going to be the first to comment this morning, but Jack was less than enthused to be looking at blogs, so I was planning on coming back later, but Max beat me to it. Too bad about the snow globe, the one on top of our roof makes our house look so awesome and can be seen from anywhere in La Verkin! I am loving the look of the blog, it makes me miss home so much! You do need to add links to the side so I can quickly navigate around. And when you comment, are you now the McNeil family? Or is that someone else. If its you, totally hilarious. If not, man we McNeils are pretty witty!

Allen - I love that you now have a blog! I love looking and reading people's blogs and keeping in touch. I actually do think it keeps people close in a very positive way! I think your forest is beautiful and I so wanted to be able to attend the Nativity. Maybe next year! Hopefully, Rod will be back and I could sneak away from choir practice! You need to show me more pics of the Nativity and give me DETAILS! Love the blog!!

Yeah on more to play! Can't wait til you go a month without updating just so I can give you some of your own medicine. I love your layout and would like to know exactly how to do it! Everyone should want to live in the frozen tundra with us. You just get to pretend that you wake up to this sight every morning, I really do!!! By the way "Good-bye my lover..." My only insight to the Office. I will have to watch your DVD's over Christmas.

Allen-
Just so you know, five comments for a first post isn't bad. Its pretty good actually. You have to consider all the people that are looking at it but never dare tell you. Or all the people that look at it everyday(Rick) and for some weird reason never comment even though you ALWAYS comment on theirs.

Oh yeah, and now that everyone has a blog, I say let the "blog wars" begin!

Yay! The McNeil family is on board! I love it...very nice Christmas stuff. It's so nice to have everyone in the Christmas spirit and be able to spread it to everyone else.

When are you coming up for Christmas?

Yeah, The Allen and Patrice blog. I have been waited since.....well since Patrice strongly urged me to start one. The house looks wonderful and Patrice's stocking hanger is adorable. You are very craftly. Thanks for stopping by the other day. I noticed that you forgot to take Anthem, so you will have to stop by and get him on the way home I guess.

I am so happy that you now have your own blog, so it can give you something to do instead of harping on the rest of us when we don't post often enought for you! I can't believe that I haven't been invited to the "Magical Christmas Forrest". I am sure my boys would love to see it, or should I say destroy it in Noah's case!

Allen and Patrice-
It was so fun to see your layout. I wish we could see you guys some time. Did you have a nice Christmas? We did. Mason was spoiled rotten! It was a little exhausting for him though. Anyway, I really like your blog and hope you can keep us all updated. Love, Katie, Bryan, and Mason Lyman

I have already commented on this particular blog, but now I see Katie Lyman has commented and I must find your blog address, Katie. I have tried to access it every way I think I might to able to find you, but can't, so give it up! What is the address? I would love to see your little family!

Allen,
It is good to see that you are blogging. I would like to keep in better touch and I think this is a good way. Seem how I can never catch you at your parents. I stopped by your parents on Christmas to try and see you but once again you weren't there. I hope all is well with you and Patrice. One day I may just have to come to see you in Las Vegas. Until then lets see another post.

I am impressed that you have 17 comments on your first post. I guess that you have been waiting for me to comment before you change your blog to show all of your Christmas pictures. Thanks for the call on my birthday. I love to hear from you. Patrice, thanks for taking care of my little boy. You know we love you both and are looking forward to coming South sometime next month.
